April 2011- Non compliant RoHS TDM loggers upgrade path
- If you are upgrading a NICE perform system from v8.9, R1.0,R2.0, or R3.0, to R4.1, TDM loggers that are non-RoHS compliant needs to be replaced. Under each logger you will be asked whther it's RoHS compliant.
If Not, a replacement PN and new platform + channels will be added and priced at 80%. If Yes, the existing logger will be upgraded.

- In order to include mobile applications and recording, select the desired application type (Voxmart, Obsidian or CPhones).
Remember to add an appropriate logger for mobile recording: for Voxmart mobile applications, you should add a VoIP logger with Voxmart Mobile recording as recording type.
For Obsidian applications, you should add a VoIP logger with SIP Active as recording type.
For CPhones , you should add a TDM logger with Trunk E1/T1 as recording type.

select the number of associations, remember to fill in all the necessary details:- Associate site # - site number to associate
- Associate to DataHub # - DataHub number to associate

Enhancements in the PowerPL model
April 2011 Please note - Once an existing qoute is reconfigured - it will incorporate all relevant changes embedded. Existing qoutes which are not reconfigured will not be affected by these changes. New qoutes will be generated with the embedded changes.- Revised services model

back to list - "One Time incentive" concept
- In the new PowerPL Maintenance policy, maintenance is no longer calculated based on list price, but rather net price, a threshold of maximum 50% product discount is applied. i.e.: When the discount on the product is higher than 50%, maintenance is calculated from 50% of the product list price (maintenance cannot be less than 9% and 11% off list price).
In cases where a higher than 50% product discount is applied, the customer may have difficulty to understand the maintenance calculation. In order to better explain it, the concept of "One time incentive" was embedded in the output document.
If the product discount is higher than 50%, the delta price between the 50% and the actual discount will be calculated and presented in a separate line, with the relvant verbage, based on the type of deal type chosen.
For new customer - it will state "One Time Incentive"
For Upgrades - it will state "Buyback Rebate"
For competitive displacements - it will state "Trade-in Rebate"

- Each user has the ability to set quote templates and use it later on as a baseline for new quotes. This allows less selections to be made and faster quote generation.
Creating a template
- As First step, a user has to create a quote that will serve as a template
- After configuration is done, press 'add to existing quote'
- Checkmark the model (first line item - with the reconfigure icon)
- Click
- You have the ability to assign the template a unique name by clicking the model label:
- And click 'rename'
- Click "create a new quote" in SalesForce
- Click "configure NICE solution"
- Click "favorites"
- Select (check mark) the template on which you would like to base a quote
- Click
- You may modify the quote by clicking 'reconfigure'
- Click "favorites"
- Select (check mark) the template on which you would like to base a quote
- Click
- You may modify the quote by clicking 'reconfigure'

In order to link a quote to an opportunity please follow the steps:
- Open the quote in BigMachines
- Open the SalesForce opportunity in another tab
- Copy the opportunity id (16 alphanumeric characters) from SalesForce:
- Paste the opportunity ID in opportunity ID field in the quote:
- Click "save":

BigMachines gives you the ability to build, share, show and generate saved reports.
- Go to the reporting manager
- Click 'refresh reporting data'
- Run an existing report or add a new report
- When selecting a new report drag the desired attributes according to the grouping levels
- Select the desired period of report, and click Run Report

The ability to have your password saved is not part of the application, but using browser tools and add-ons, you may have it saved for you.
Using FireFox- Enable password saving: tools --> options --> Security ; checkmark "Remember passwords for sites"

- Enable password saving in the browser setting: Tools --> options --> personal stuff ; make sure that "Offer to save Passwords" is checked

- In the next login to BigMachines, you will be propted to save the site password
